Kings Community Church

Kings Community Church

Description

We are a large family church on the edge of the city: a charismatic, evangelical church that is part of the Newfrontiers family of churches.

Times and number of services

Our Sunday morning meeting is at 10am.

Mid-week Meetings/Events/Community involvement

Mid week the church has cell groups scattered around the Southampton and Solent area that meet in people’s homes to equip, inspire and grow every member of the church. If you want a quiet life then KCC isn’t for you! We run a number of different works on Sundays and throughout the week, working with children and young people, Alpha, luncheon club for the elderly, Parent and Toddler groups, and a “Kidz Club” in Thornhill, a local housing estate. All of these works have an outreach focus and provide great opportunities for students to get involved not just in church life but also in the community. We also have a strong passion in working overseas, serving a number of churches and work with the poor across four continents.

Worship and teaching

We value worship and preaching that is filled with the Spirit and solidly founded on truth, in which we celebrate God and all that He has done for us and seek to be challenged and equipped by Him for His calling on our lives.

Transportation

We arrange transport via minibus or car for our Sunday meetings, for more details on times and locations of these lifts please email;

students@kccsouthampton.org.

Student work

We have a designated student team to offer pastoral support to students and to help integrate you into the vibrant family life of the church. A sense of family in the church is of great importance to us. We offer Student Lunches to help you get to know people within the church, alongside other worship/teaching events specifically aimed at the student and young professional age group.
